Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello! We are a small family of three who lives in Westerville, Ohio, 20 minutes away from Columbus, Ohio. My husband is Thomas and I am Kelly. Thomas was born in Vietnam and I was born in South Africa. We have both been raised in the USA. Together. We have our beautiful daughter Audrey. Audrey is autistic yet extremely intelligent and amazingly sweet . We are very close to Ohio State University which is an excellent for someone who is looking to advance their education. We are looking for an au pair to care for Audrey while Thomas and I work and occasionally on a weekend night so we can have a date.

Job Description

The most specific skill that the au pair needs is the ability to work with an autistic child. Audrey is a very well behaved young lady. However, there are times when her autism causes her to stim. Most of her stimming is cute and fun like waving her hands. However, occasionally she will hit the wall. She does go to therapy during school and attends a school for autistic children. We have an ABA therapist who will be working with our family to help Audrey improve.

Accommodation

There are a couple of accommodation options within our home. We have a full basement with a living room on one side and a bedroom and bathroom on the other. The other option is a bedroom on the top floor with a full bathroom which is close to Audrey. The home does have Wi-Fi and has more than one office setup.
