Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi!

We are a family of 4 living just outside of Zurich city. Our eldest son is 5.5 years old and goes to Swiss kindergarten (usually half days except for 2 days a week when he is there until 3pm). And we have baby boy who is almost 1.5 years old.we are starting a half days kita for him in March 2025. We will need support with the baby and eldest son, pick ups from Kita, lunch and a few times per week dinner prep. We are looking for someone who has done aupair experience or at least has worked with children and understands their developmental support needs.  We live in a spacious historical house with a big garden that we share with our neighbours and you will have your own room and bathroom. On the weekends we love spending time outdoors and in our garden doing projects, by the nearby lake or in the mountains.

Job Description

We are looking for experienced AuPairs with a previous host family experience, who know how to take care of toddlers and preschoolers.

We speak English and German in our home and need applicants to have good knowledge level of English. We will be glad to help you learn German, and will sponsor your German language school. First aid training, driving license and experience behind the wheel is a strong plus (or at least ability to ride a bike).

Working schedule will depend on an the arrangement and will be outlined in the working contract. We will however need some level of flexibility here and there.

Sorry, but only EU citizens will be considered, due to strict Swiss regulation.

We live in a beautiful historical house just outside of Zurich city, Switzerland with plenty of space and a huge garden. You will have your own room and a bathroom.

Zurich city center is 20 min away on a train, and nature activities, lake, hiking trails are nearby.
Wi-Fi is not a problem.
