Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello! We are very excited to welcome you to our home! We live in a nice community within the NYC area. We have access to several transportation options near us within walking distance (several bus options, including an express bus to Manhattan), and the train within a short 15-20 minute bus ride. We are about 40 minutes outside of Manhattan, close enough to experience all the benefits of NYC but without living in the busy noisy areas! Our neighborhood is a nice residential community with a park nearby for beautiful walks along the water, and plenty of stores and food options. Since we are within NYC, there is access to pretty much anything you can imagine. If you are studying or want to study something in particular, there is easy access to several schools within our immediate area and Manhattan as well. We look forward to showing our future Au Pair NYC and the NY lifestyle!

Job Description

We are looking for someone to be a good companion and teacher for our daughter. We will need someone to take care of her during the day while we are working. However, the evenings and weekends will be free! Our daughter is 1 year old and has just become extremely fun! She is very sweet and funny, loves music and to dance! We would like for someone to be able to teach her basic skills appropriate for her age and possibly accompany her during activities (e.g., swimming, dance). It would be great to also have help with some simple meal preparation and light cleaning in the house.
