Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello,
we are a familiy of 5 living in downtown Vienna, Austria and are looking for a warm-hearted, reliable and open-minded Au-pair for our 2 daughters aged 8 and 6 years and our 2,5-year old son. Our family is active, culturally interested and friendly and we hope to find someone who spends at least 1 year with our family. If you are adventurous, active, independent and responsible and you are interested in spending time with our children, we would be very happy to have you.

Job Description

We have very concrete expectations concerning the working hours and the requirements.

Philipp and I have to leave home at 7.15 so we need someone who prepares breakfast for the kids (and puts the dishes in the dish-washer), dresses them, does the morning routine (brushing teeth, hair, ...) and brings them to childcare (to be reached by foot).

In the afternoon (around 3 pm) the kids should be picked up from childcare and some activities should be started (eg going to the playground, walk, museum, swimming) or the kids need to be dropped at afternoon activities.
Johanna returns from work at around 5, Philipp around 6. Holidays and most of the weekends are free but we expect flexibility concerning the schedule.

Also small household chores will need to be done like doing groceries, preparing dinner, emptying the dishwasher or doing the laundry.

A drivers licence would be helpful but is not urgently required. For the activities we would look for someone who can swim and ride a bike.

Accommodation

We are living in an apartement very central close to Stephansplatz in downtown Vienna. Public transport (underground, bus, tram) is easily available and basically all things of daily live can be reached by foot.
We provide a bright and large room on the upper floor of the apparment with a separate small bathroom. Our kitchen can be shared, but there is also a separate kitchen available.
