Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are Bart (him/his), Rachel (she/her) and Baby Rio and would love to welcome an Au Pair to support our little family while mother Rachel is starting to work again as a teacher from September 2025 on.

We offer you an accommodation in our apartment, located in one of Vienna’s greenest districts but still very close to cultural and culinaric spots (Donaukanal, Augarten, Taborstraße, Donauinsel and Karmeliter market just to mention a few). Vienna offers more than one city center, but the first district, which is often referred to as „the“ city center is 20 minutes with public transportation or walking. Our apartment is in a living area, but close to a public parc as well as several shops, bars and cafes.
the closest language school is right accross the street. Several public transportation stations are only a few minutes away from our door and lead you to in all directions of the city.

Job Description

Just a quick overview of what we’re looking for: caring for the baby is the main priority—this includes things like changing diapers, bathing, going for walks, and feeding. We’d also love a bit of help with preparing lunch for the baby and the father. Don’t worry if you’re not super confident in the kitchen—we have a Thermomix, which makes meal prep really easy!
