Work abroad in Paola's family for 6-12 Months starting from Jan 2025 as an Au Pair and Nanny to take care of 2 children of 1 - 5 years old & 6 - 10 years old in Williams Lake, British Columbia Canada

Our family is looking for a nanny / au pair for approximately 20-25 hours per week to support us in Williams Lake, British Columbia. We have two children, aged 5 and 8. The nanny will spend more time with the 5 year old who is neurodivergent (ADHD) and requires someone who is loving, patient and has a sense of humour.

Both children attend French immersion public school. Our five year old also goes to an outdoor school on Thursdays and the caregiver has to attend with him as his support person and remain with him for the day.

The person needs to have a driver's license because driving to and from activities is necessary. We have a vehicle that can be used. Williams Lake is also a relatively rural place and Canada is huge so having a license makes living here better.

The caregiver will also provide some care before school (8am - 9am), after school from 3-5pm, weekdays when the children don't have school or are ill and the occasional weekend.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with neurodivergent people and be willing to take a free course on caring for kids with ADHD.

There will also be some house work, cooking and dog walking / pet sitting required.

We value someone who can establish a safe and nurturing environment for our kids and who wants to keep them active. We are hoping the au pair becomes a part of our family and they come to consider us family. We love to travel, explore people and cultures and hope that by having an au pair in our home, our children will be exposed to this as well.
