Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Au Pair,
we are a family of four. Our names are Jana, Stephan, Jakob & Micha.
Jakob is 5 years old, Micha is 2. They are creative and curious boys which love to stay outside, play in the sun (or in the rain as well) and invent the best machines with whatever they find in the garden ;)
As the boys always keep us busy, we would be happy to have you as a helping hand, spending time and explore the world with them.

Dad Stephan works as an engineer for a big company, but also takes time for his children whenever they need him.
Jana was a Au Pair herself after graduating from school. Caring for children, doing arts, crafts and other activities, preparing meals for them and getting around the country was a great experience. Would you like to have this great experience?

Then you are welcome to join our family. We are looking for someone to help us to care for the boys since unfortunately Jana is currently in a poor state of health. We would be happy to know the boys are well looked after.

Job Description

As typical for an Au Pair job, you will do the morning routine with the boys and bring them to the kindergarten.
At noon, you will collect them from the kindergarten and spend some time with them in the afternoon.
You will prepare the meal in the evening for the family.
On two days of the week, the boys are together with the grandparents and you will have a free day after the kids are in the kindergarten.
We expect help with the laundry and weekly shopping.

Accommodation

In your room you have your own sink, the bathroom is shared with the family. The window is facing to the garden.
We will install also a LAN cable for the internet additional to the Wifi access.

We live in a village close to a town which provides everything you need. There is a train station from where you get to Stuttgart, the capital city of Baden-Württemberg, in about 20 min and explore the city.
