Dear future au pair,

We are a 35-year-old couple living in Brussels, in a family-friendly, green, and lively neighborhood, close to public transportation, cafes, shops, and parks. We have two young children, Georges (3 years old) and Stella (1 year old), and are expecting a third baby in October.

Georges is a curious, funny, and sweet little boy who loves going to school and learning new things. Stella is a calm, independent, very affectionate, and cheerful little girl. They are both easygoing, cheerful, and pleasant children. They love games, stories, walks, and daily routines. We also have a dog, Ralph, a very gentle 5-year-old companion who loves walks but remains calm at home.

Our family is dynamic: we enjoy spending time together, exploring new places on weekends, being outdoors, visiting exhibitions, going for walks, cooking, or inviting friends over. We are looking for an au pair to help us with this family life, especially starting in the fall, when the baby arrives.

We need support for late afternoons (pick-ups from daycare and school), a little help in the kitchen, and generally, a reassuring and cheerful presence in the house. We want the relationship to remain family-oriented, while respecting each other's private moments: our future au pair will therefore have their own free time and space to explore the city, go out, take classes, or meet new people.

We speak French at home, but would be delighted to welcome someone who also speaks a little English or another language—as long as communication is fluid and friendly, everything works!
