We live in a beautiful house with a pool in a suburb of Linz. My wife brought a son (who is almost 11 years old) into the relationship. He spends every weekend with his dad. We had a child of our own in 2023. Lukas Maximilian – our pride and joy.

The main reason for an au pair is to offer our little one a bilingual childhood (in English). English is important, and he should gain some experience here. Of course, we also do some babysitting, but we are at home a lot. On weekends, as a dad, I spend a lot of time playing with the little one. This isn't "full-time" babysitting – definitely not! It's about learning ENGLISH.

In addition, the older one (11 years old) is starting school at the next higher level, and English is also taught there. So, if he learns a few things here, it will be easier for him. Babysitting isn't necessary.

On weekends, we occasionally stay overnight in my hometown. We have a separate area in the basement, which also has its own bathroom and toilet. There's also a sauna, if you're interested.
