Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear future Au Pair,

We are very happy that you’re reading our profile and maybe considering becoming part of our little family in Italy!
We live in Rozzano, close to Milan, a green and safe area well connected by buses and metro (about 30 minutes from the city center).
The closest language school is in Milan, and there are bus stops just a few minutes from home.

I’m Greta, a teacher and founder of an educational project called EduKora, and I have a wonderful 5-year-old daughter named Selene.
She is sweet, curious, and full of imagination — she loves drawing, music, stories and spending time outdoors.

We are looking for someone kind, responsible and cheerful who can help in the afternoons, share small daily routines with Selene, and bring a touch of their own culture into our home.

You’ll have your own private room, Wi-Fi, and we’ll do our best to make you feel at home.
We can’t wait to meet you and to live this beautiful cultural exchange together!

With love,
Greta & Selene

Job Description

We are looking for an Au Pair to help with childcare in the afternoons, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and two Saturdays a month from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
Your main tasks would be to spend time with Selene, play, help her with small routines (snack, tidy up toys, prepare pajamas), and sometimes accompany her to local activities.
Light help at home is appreciated but not required.

We value kindness, creativity, and a good sense of responsibility more than experience.
Basic English or Italian is enough — we’ll help you practice!

Accommodation

You will stay in our cozy apartment in Rozzano.
My mother and I live in two separate but very close homes, just a few minutes away from each other.
I usually spend the nights with my daughter Selene at my mom’s place, so during most evenings — and also in the mornings until about 3:00 p.m. — you’ll have the entire apartment all to yourself.

The house is bright, quiet, and fully equipped with everything you need.
There is Wi-Fi, a comfortable private bedroom, and a shared bathroom (but you’ll have full privacy).

I work from home during the day, giving online and in-person lessons, so you’ll find a calm and respectful environment.
In the evening, the space becomes completely yours to relax, cook, read, or rest.
