Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

ONLY EU applicants please.

Hello,
We are excited to have an au pair to join our family. With our older son (he is 10 now), we also had an au pair staying with us. She was with us for 3 years and still working in Switzerland as a nanny :) Hope we can form a long term relationship too and have au pair stay with us over a year.

ONLY EU applicants please. We will NOT consider anyone from outside of EU for visa reasons.

Job Description

ONLY EU applicants please.

Primary duty will be taken care of the little one (3 years old) that includes feeding, taking to the playground, etc. Also, helping mom with the house is expected.

Salary indicated is to be negotiated based on hours and responsibilities. Everything will be done officially.

Currently, indicated salary of 1600 CHF includes cost of CHF 900 for accommodations and food (we don't have an extra room in our house, therefore, we will be renting a room off site for the au pair) plus salary of CHF 700 for taking care of kids and cleaning the house (cash component).

Au pair will be responsible to pay required social contributions, insurances, and taxes. We will share (50/50) with au pair the cost of required deductions and insurance. Au pair will be responsible for her portion of taxes. This will cost you about CHF 250 per month.

Additionally, we will pay for German classes (up to CHF 250) and transport around the city (around CHF 100).

Also, based on law, au pair will get 4 weeks of paid holidays.
