I have never been an Au Pair before. However, I do have experience taking care of children. When my cousin was born, I stayed with my uncles as long as I could. I fed him, changed his dippers, took him a bath. When he turned 1, we started to play a lot, we run, play hide and seek. We have a lot of fun. Unfortunately, they are currentley living in Spain.
This year I took care of a 4-year-old. I taught her the numbers, the alphabet, and even a bit of English. And a few months ago, I had my biggest challenge. I took care of twins of 1 year and a half and their brother of 7 years. It was hard at first because the little ones didn't know me, but eventually they started to trust me so it was easier to change them and take them a bath. I made them laugh, played, went to the park, walked. It was a beautiful experience.
The past semestre I started what we call "prácticas". There I stayed for four weeks in a one-year-old class.
