I successfully completed a one-year au pair program in the Netherlands, where I gained invaluable experience and cherished memories. Below are the details of my responsibilities and engagements with the three host families:

In Utrecht, I cared for two boys, aged 3 months and 3 years, under the supervision of Dutch parents for one month. My duties primarily involved establishing a routine for the baby, including feeding, burping, changing diapers, and ensuring restful sleep. Additionally, I engaged the 3-year-old in play activities, provided companionship, and assisted with light household chores while the parents were occupied.

Transitioning to Ouderkerk aan den IJssel, I joined a multicultural household comprising a Dutch father and a Filipina mother. Over two months, I nurtured a 2-year-old girl, offering morning care, preparing meals, organizing activities, teaching English, and facilitating her afternoon nap. After school, I supervised and entertained her older siblings until the family reunited for dinner, actively participating in household tasks throughout.

Lastly, in Amsterdam, I supported a Dutch-Thai family by tending to their two boys, aged 2 and 5, for seven enriching months. My role extended throughout the summer, allowing for extensive bonding and shared experiences. From accompanying the children to school to engaging in creative endeavors like drawing and teaching them various subjects, I ensured their holistic development. Moreover, I orchestrated outings to diverse locales, fostering their curiosity and sense of adventure.

My Au Pair year in the Netherlands was a memorable experience. Despite communication difficulties with previous host families, the adventure was extremely beneficial to my personal growth and allowed me the opportunity to immerse myself in other cultures while traveling the world. I ended up in Amsterdam, where I live with a great family and two energetic boys. The events of 2023 served as a crucial moment, prompting a profound appreciation for the value of life. Presently, I approach each day with renewed purpose and a willingness to embrace the exciting opportunities that may unfold in my future.

I was a part-time English tutor for elementary to middle school students at Ichiban Language Center (August 2021-December 2022). I enjoy teaching children. I believe that childhood is everything; it shapes who you will be when you grow up. Language Acquisition class has taught me that the age of under 12 is the best time to learn languages and that if you learn a language before the age of 12, you can become fluent in any language in the world. This is what makes me very excited and want to teach English to Thai children from an early age for the rapid development of their brains.

I also tutored and babysat my friend's 7-year-old niece and 11-year-old nephew every weekend for three months. My main responsibility was to tutor them. I love how attentive they are to learning English. I occasionally helped their mother in preparing lunch and dinner for them. They enjoy dancing and exercising, so I always take them to the park to do activities like running and aerobic dancing, which they really love.

Another important benefit is that I believe this program will allow me to improve my speaking skill to reach a fluent level.

I will take care of your children as my own family if you allow me to spend time in your welcoming home. I am willing to assist with some minor housework. I can easily prepare meals using simple Internet recipes. If your children are interested in studying, I can be a tutor for English grammar, writing, literature, basic Thai and Chinese, drawing and painting, photography, or teaching computer skills, as I can use a wide range of computer programs.
