Carta a la familia

Hello, I am Ece. I am 24 years old. After completing my 1-year au-pair experience in Switzerland, where I had wonderful experiences, I moved to Italy to continue my education with my curiosity in new cultures. I am a student here at Università degli studi di Perugia, Department of Engineering. I was previously studying Physics Engineering in Turkey. I am very excited for new experiences and routes in the next period of my life. It gives me joy to continue as an au pair with children, the group I enjoy exploring this process with the most! Starting from a point where I worked as a professional play sister in addition to my school life in the Science Heroes Association, where I volunteered, I try to teach and love science to children by having fun, and to work voluntarily by doing small projects together. I looked after my little nephew as an aunt for a while, and I also enjoyed spending time with the children. I wanted to start a new experience. I worked with a family in Switzerland to take care of their 6-month-old baby and 9-year-old child. I still love them very much, just like my own family and siblings, and we are still in touch, a very sweet bond has formed between us. I love children, their curiosity, their openness to learning, their non-judgment and spending time with them. Apart from this, I have helped take care of my brother's 10-month-old son for the last 10 months. When caring for children this age, we introduced and played with the 10-month-old to help him crawl and walk, and he usually slept a lot. On the other hand, I think that helping older children who love playing with blocks with their homework, playing with blocks and animating the shapes made of blocks with modules will inspire them to see their imagination and what they can do. Thinking about global issues in the environment, understanding why they happen, and producing light simply from wind is one of my favorite activities. I think such activities are good for children's development, but it is much more important to shape which activity you will do according to what children like, so that they can focus on the area they like and want and enjoy what they do. they do. In addition to my communication with children and their unlimited imagination, I also love discovering new things. I'm open to anything that will broaden my horizons. On the other hand, while continuing my academic life, I will be very happy to learn the local culture and language of where I live from you! If you think we are a good match for each other and want to be my new family, I look forward to meeting you.

Experiencia con niños

I am currently a senior student at a university. Most of my courses are in English but I live in Italy so, at this point I would like to learn Italian. Besides, it is very important for me to discover new places and gain new experiences. The most suitable option for me to be able to do this is to become an au pair. Because my communication with children is very strong. During my university life, I worked as a game sister during the summer months and part-time. My job was to organize at least 10-15 children at the same time, to see them be happy and have a good time and see the smiles on their faces. In this process, we were doing various children's experiments, games, shaped balloons and dancing fun activities. In addition, I was giving private math and science lessons to young children, at which point I think that my ability to communicate something complex to a simple level has improved a lot when communicating with children. This must have been noticed by others, because when I participated in the NASA-sponsored model satellite competition, the CEO of the company that sponsored us so that we could go to America organized a children's festival and asked me to tell the children about our work as a speaker in this organization. As a result of this process, when I explained the propellers of drones to the wings of a bird, electronic cards to the brain of satellites, batteries to the energy stores of satellites, that is, to the stomachs of the children; She offered me a job where she wanted me to spend time with her child 3 days a week. In fact, the main thing I did here was to help the child with his basic needs, as well as to develop his interest and curiosity in science, to introduce this field to him by making designs and simple scientific experiments and small projects such as how we imagine and design. It was very enjoyable and fun for me to communicate with the children. In addition to these, I worked at home for a summer as a helper looking after the children of our neighbor's daughter, aged 7 and 3. My brother's wife has busy working hours as she is a nurse. During the pandemic process, I was helping to take care of their newborn babies for 10 months as they had to work in heavy conditions in our country. The things I do around here are bottle feeding, spoon feeding, burping, bathing, changing diapers and putting them to sleep. I have mastered these by experience. Apart from these, wherever I see a child or temporarily, I spend time with children on a daily basis. And I had a wonderful one-year experience as a Swiss au pair. Here I took care of a baby from 6 months to 1.6 years old, and we did fun scientific experiments with a 9-year-old brother. Since my family is my reference, I can send their reference letter if you want more information!
