Dear future Au Pair!

We are Gerhard (51) and Ute (40) and we would like to welcome you to our family and invite you to spend up to one year with us.

We are parents of a eight year old happy daughter and a five year old energized but cuddly son.

We have the pleasure to "manage" our daily family life with the support of an Au-pair since September 2019. Therefore we know what a great experience it could be for both sides.

We are looking for a new Au Pair, who will support us in taking care of our two children (play with them, take them to kindergarten/school/sports and pick them up, encourage them to speak English, etc.).

If you are an active, honest and enthusiastic person, who finds joy in interacting with children, we are convinced that we could have a great time together.

Descripción del trabajo

The main priority is looking after and playing with our children:
That means preparing them for the day in the morning, taking them to kindergarten/school and picking them up in the afternoon. About two times a month we may need you to babysit in the evening. This could be during the week or at the weekend.

We want you to speak English with our children. If you want to, we - Gerhard and Ute - will support you in learning the German language by speaking German with you and pay for your German language course. All previous au-pairs leave us with a high level of German.

Amongst looking after our children we will ask you to help with light household chores:
- help tiding up the children area
- help in making the kids laundry
- help preparing easy meals
- help cleaning the kitchen
- no extra cleaning involved!

At the weekend (except while babysitting), you will have free time.

We will
- pay 280 Euro per month pocket money
- cover your health insurance
- get you a visa and pay for it
- pay for your language course
- get a contract for your mobile phone and pay for it and
- give you access to a small car at all times (also for private use)
- pay for public-transportation

Alojamiento del Au Pair

Your room is in the ground floor and is part of a separate apartment inside our house with a bathroom and a small kitchenette, that can be used whenever you choose not to join us for meals. The apartment has a separate entrance and a direct connection to our garden.

Stuttgart, the city we live in, is a culturally rich city with lots of different leisure activities. With 600.000 inhabitants it is amongst the biggest and economically most important cities in Germany. Furthermore it is extremely well connected to other cities and as well to Austria, France, Lake Constance and Switzerland.
In Stuttgart you will find as well a big Au-pair-community.

Our house is about 10-15 "car-minutes" from Stuttgart center. You can reach the city-center also by railway (about 15 minutes by foot with additional 15 minutes by railway).
