In short, we are looking for a friendly au pair who is looking forward to a new adventure and be part of a big, a bit chaotic, but very warm family with 4 young kids, and who has experience with young children and babies.

A driving license is a must.

In a normal scenario, we would expect the au pair to assist in the morning and evening with the babies to get them ready for school, while we get the older ones ready. Thereafter, bring all kids to school. On Wednesday, school is finished early, so in the afternoon we expect the au pair to take care of Valentine & Armand + transport to hobbies. Normally during the day and weekends you are free. Also, we expect everybody (including ourselves) in the family to take a share of the house hold tasks; we do have a cleaning lady who comes every week, but obviously a bit more is needed.

If due to sickness or emergency situation, our kids are unable to attend school and are home as well during the week, we also seek an au pair who is willing to take upon herself additional tasks during these challenging times.

Alojamiento del Au Pair

We are living in Kortrijk - Belgium, which is a medium sized town in vicinity of Gent/Bruges/Brussels and even France. We live just outside the city centre (5’ by bycicle or 15’ walk) in a very quiet & green neighborhood. We have a large garden allowing the whole family to enjoy the outdoors whenever the weather is nice.

The house is relatively large and for the au pair we have foreseen the largest bedroom, with own sofa and television corner (Netflix TV), as well as own sink in the room and private shower (in the hall). A car is also available for the au pair, although mainly intended to transport the children.
