Dear Aupair,

This is our third year in this program and we've had wonderful experiences so far. We are looking for someone loving, communicative and who loves nature. We are looking for a big sister/brother to our children.

We are easy-going, open-minded and respectful. We want to have your back and see you grow with this experience. In short, we want to be your home away from home.

We offer you a language course, retirement plan and health insurance. You will have a large and comfortable bedroom with lots of light.

We live in the small town of Gams (population 3'500) in the Rhein valley. in this area Swiss-German is the spoken language, and we also speak Spanish/English at home. If you are into learning new languages, this is the place to be!

This area is perfect for bicycling around but also for hiking, as we are surrounded by mountains. We hope you like the outdoors and being out in nature.
In the winter, you are only a 20-minute bus ride away from Wildhaus, where you can go skiing, snowboarding, or simply enjoy being in a beautiful Swiss winter setting. In the summer, besides endless hiking with views, we have a swim and bbq area just 10 minutes away on foot.
If you like animals, you will find several farms around the corner with cows and horses. Options are endless!
If you are into traveling, we are only 5 minutes away from Liechtenstein and 15 minutes to Austria. You can visit Austrian towns and the principality of Liechtenstein, both with restaurants and museums and beautiful old towns.
We live in a house with an amazing garden. We have fruit trees and you will feel like you are on holiday, because you will hear no traffic here, only the birds and cowbells. Still, we are only a few minutes away from shopping malls and a larger town that has a large shopping area and fast train connections to larger cities in Switzerland and international destinations.

Description des tâches

The job consists of about 5 hours of child care per day, with small household work and lunch prep. As such, some cooking skills are a must.
The main job is taking care of our twins while the mother is working.
We appreciate support with cleaning up after lunch, picking up after the twins, putting clean dishes away, putting clean clothes away etc.
The usual routine is as follows:
The mother starts working at around 8:00 until 12:00 in the morning. I require certain degree of flexibility depending on meetings scheduled. Other than that, afternoons and weekends are free :-)
The older siblings will leave the house at 7:50 in the morning for school. They will take a snack with them.
The aupair can go out with the twins for some activities or a stroll. Otherwise she can stay home with them while mum is working. They take a nap around noon.
