Hello, we are an international trilingual family that have relocated from the UK to the beautiful town of Lucca in Tuscany (Italy) in Sept 2023. We live in the town city centre, 30 minutes from the beach, 30 minutes away from Pisa and 1hour 15 from the gorgeous Florence.

Following a year with our great Finnish Aupair, we have decided to renew the experience. We are looking for an Aupair that would like to share and immerse herself in our multicultural family life.

Lucca has Italian & arts schools, all within walking distance and a bustling evening life. You can move around town freely by cycling or walking.

Description des tâches

The Aupair will be mainly responsible childcare : drop-off / pick up from school and take them to their relevant afternoon activities. We also want you to be in charge of the children evening routine : prepare suppers, showers and ensure that the children rooms are tidied ahead of bed time (which they should do).

We are looking for an au pair for 6 to 12 months.

The weekly hours and monthly salary will be discussed together, we are currently looking at around 30 hours a week (split between Monday to Saturday).

We might also want you to baby sit on an ad’hoc basis : hourly rate to be agreed upon and paid on top of AuPair duties.

Days off: 1 permanent day off a week to be agreed upon together before start.

Holidays: 20 days off a year allocated on a monthly pro rated value (we are flexible if you need more). If we were to go on holidays (locally or internationally) we would like you to be able to accompany us too (to be agreed upon when planned and booked).

Ideally we want a mother tongue French or English candidate, depending on your language abilities.

Logement de l'Au Pair

You will be provided with your own bedroom with en-suite bathroom in an independent part of our house to guarantee your privacy (top floor of our flat which is around 250 sqm). We expect you to also be in charge of maintaining your room and bathroom clean.

The flat is on the 3rd floor of 1500s building without lift (a normal thing in Italy).

You will also have your own bicycle.
