Hello! My name is Callista (Callie), and I’m looking to join a family as an Au Pair beginning October 2024 or later. I'm from the US, specifically a town just outside of Chicago. English is my first language with some background in Spanish. It would be ideal to join a family that is Spanish-speaking, as I'm working to improve these skills.

I'm 23 years old and currently attend university, studying art & design. I've always loved creating in a variety of forms. Recently, I've been interested in sewing, painting, and I always enjoy drawing.
Reading, cooking, and taking walks are other things I enjoy and make time for everyday. Time in nature is important to me, and I hope to spend a lot of time outside exploring wherever I settle :)

I've worked with children in a variety of settings, beginning my first babysitting job at age 14 and continuing ever since. My interest in becoming an Au Pair started after my experience as a full-time nanny during summer in 2021. At this time, I was spending 6 days a week with their family and looking after their 6 and 8 year old boys. This experience allowed me insight into the fulfillment that comes with caring for children. Although it was only a few months that I worked with this specific family, the relationship we formed is special to me and one I plan to maintain for years forward.

I also recently adopted a kitty, and I would love if I could bring her along with me. She is sweet and playful, and I think she would do well living with children.
