My name is Kathi, I'm 19 years old and I'm currently living in Oslo with a host family ( kids: girl,4 & boy 7). My parents are separated. My oldest brother (22) lives alone in the house we grew up. My little brother (15) lives with my mother in northern Germany in Wismar. I can already speak some Norwegian (still need to improve) as I was an au pair in Northern Norway (Tromsø) in 2022-2023. I lived there with 3 children (2, 5 & 7 years old). My job was to drive the children to school and kindergarten, go shopping, clean up, take care of the children and play and cook with them. I really enjoyed living there and I really enjoyed being an au pair. Before my au pair year I lived with my father for a year and 17 years before that I lived with my mother and my two brothers. I have a very good relationship with my brothers and my parents.

Now I'll tell you a little bit about me. I’ve not only been to Norway, but also to Scotland (backpack trip) Denmark & ​​Sweden (road trip with my little brother), France (sightseeing with my father), Bavaria & Austria (with my mother and my best friend) and I have been in Switzerland. I love to travel and meet new people. I am proud of what I have already achieved and would like to experience as much as possible. I'm always happy to learn and look forward to new challenges. In my free time I like to go to concerts or medieval festivals. I like to go hiking, dancing and learning new languages.

I've always been very interested in Norway and the language. Norway is my second home. In another year as an au pair, I hope to learn the language even better and maybe someday live in Norway.
