I’ve had experience from taking care of my nephew, Folk, since he was only newborn. Now he’s 4 years old. I helps with most of things which are preparing food and milk, washing his clothes and bottles, helping my parents to bath him when he was only newborn, changing diapers, cleaning after, playing with him, encouraging him to speak, walk as well as singing lullaby, holding him for walking around home, teaching him to behave politely, helping him to learn English through songs and activities, teaching homework, preparing school uniform and school bag, dropping off and picking him up from school.

Furthermore, I had babysitting experience of my neighbor’s daughter, Japan, in 2019. At the time, the girl was 2 years old and I helped her parents with preparing food and milk, feeding, changing diapers, bathing, singing, playing and encouraging her to speak and play outdoor.

Apart from that, I had experience of taking care of children at an English language institute; I-Genius Kids and the children were 1.6 - 8 years old. I learned and worked with many duties; taking care of their hygiene, taking temperature, helping to clean children’s hands, reminding them to wear masks, face shield, taking to a bathroom, feeding snack and drinks, welcoming to class, sending to parents, tidying up classrooms, toys and entertaining them during activities.

I also had the experience being a teacher for a year for high school student (14-15 years old) and I taught them Mathematics. And during the year, I also was a tutor for 3 boys. I taught them Mathematics after school and for some weekends.

I really enjoyed all of my experiences because I like seeing their happy faces, big smiles, big laughs, and happiness. I was happy to be a part in their childhood. I’ve learned to take care of them with full attention, safety, hygiene and good understanding their ages and development.

For the reasons of wanting to be an Au Pair, It is because I love to take care of children, to see their smiles, laughs and having fun. I think I’ve known how to be with children and can help my host family to take care the host children well from my experience by spending time with my nephew for more than 4 years and also other childcare experience with children of different ages.
In addition, I also want to gain more hands-on childcare experience from other nationalities' children to adapt to my future work and I also want to explore new things which I have never had experience before in my life such as different culture, language, people, places, and nature.
