Dear host family,

I am writing to apply for the Au Pair position you have listed. As someone who is highly skilled looking after young children I feel as if I would be a perfect candidate for this very important role. I am very patient with children and a strong believer of learning by play such as baby/toddler sensory, heuristic play and song and dance.

Safety is my number one priority, I carefully monitor the children whilst out and about and at home, and am constantly assessing my surroundings to ensure the safety of the children I am looking after. I understand how important good nutrition is in growing toddlers and kids. I can carefully prepare meals that are yummy but also nutritious and are a safe size for small children to eat. I have a fantastic relationship with the previous families I have babysat or nannied for and still keep in regular contact and do the odd babysitting job for them when required and I find it so wonderful being able to watch them grow up and develop into proper little people. I am a person with fantastic communication skills and am happy to assist with all needs around the family home.
