Dear Au Pair,

we are an international family with two children (girl, boy) aged 11 and 9 years. Mum is from Germany and Dad is from Canada and our children were born in the UK. At home we speak both English and German with the children.

We live in the beautiful city Den Haag (The Hague) in The Netherlands in a 6-bedroom house with a nice garden in the historic center of the city/Scheveningen. Den Haag is an international city with many expatriates, universities and international organizations & embassies by a long beach with bars and surfschools and close to Amsterdam. With a short train ride (40 min) you can be in Amsterdam, Leiden, Rotterdam and many other places in the Netherlands.
We are looking for an Au Pair who loves children, sports and would like you to join us from January 2024 for a period of 6 -12 months and discover this beautiful country.

Descrizione del Lavoro

In the morning we need some help to get the children ready, giving them breakfast and bringing them to school, which is close-by. In the afternoon you pick up our children and spend time with them playing/homework support (3 h) or take them to afterschool activities until we are back in the evening. We would also like for you to prepare a light dinner for the children. During the day and in the evening you would have free time. Maybe once a week we would expect you to babysit in the evening.

Alloggio dell'AuPair

You would have your own bedroom (with a bed, desk, wardrobe and bookcase) and an own bathroom on a separate floor (2nd floor) for some privacy in our house. We have full WIFI on all floors and there is a bike ready for you to use.

We live in the centre of Den Haag within walking distance to many shops, cafés, bars etc. The central train station is 10 minutes from our house and the Beach and sand-dunes are also 10 min away by bike. By train from central station you are in Amsterdam within 40 min. There are lots of possibilities for young people in Den Haag (such as concerts, cinema & events). There are also several language schools close-by.
