Lettera di Benvenuto per l'Au Pair

Hallo liebe Au pairs!

We are very excited to welcome our next au pair in our home! :)
We have currently an Au pair from Brazil, but sadly it is almost time for her to leave :(

We are a family of 4 (a girl with 5 years old and a 2 years old boy). We speak German, Portuguese and English.
We are both doctors, working sometimes with night shifts and we would love to have someone help with our children and some light house chores.

We are open minded people and we are trying to raise our children to be respectful and kind. And we encourage tolerance.

> VERY IMPORTANT: we really need someone who has drivers licence and can drive! (Manual or automatic) (we live in a very calm region, car traffic is easy).

>> If you don´t have drivers licence and no driving skills, please do NOT apply !<<

>> To get Au pair visa for Germany you need at least A1 certificate of German language from an official language school like Goethe Institut <<

Descrizione del Lavoro

- We expect that the Au-pair helps us with taking care of the kids. Some examples are: to prepare their meals, helping them with feeding, bathing and self care; to take them to and picking them up from the kindergarden. Playing.

-we do not expect you to do housekeeping but you are responsible to keep your room and bathroom clean and tidy. And do help with some light house work for example emptying the dishwasher or folding kids clothes

- We expect that the Au-pair can be engaging and pro-active with playtime and activities: this means to be motivated, to be creative and enjoy playing with them, do some fun activities or arts and craft or simply going outside and have some fun in the nature or at the playground and not expect us to always tell you what to do.

- Some screen time is allowed but we try to reduce as much as possible!

- usually we like to cook our own meals but it would be nice to try some foods from your country! :)

- We would like to have some date nights time to time (every 2 weeks for example). It is important for an healthy family when parents have some time for themselves :)

OUR DAILY ROUTINE:
We work from Monday to Friday from 07:00 a.m. to 16:30 p.m.. The kids go to Kindergarten from 8:15 a.m. until 14:30 p.m.
When the kids arrive home they eat some afternoon snack or play for a few minutes, then they should have a bath. After it is playtime until we arrive home too. Dinner starts to be prepared around 18:00 p.m. so we can all start having dinner at 19:00 p.m.
After dinner it is time to brush the teeth, dress pyjamas and bedtime story. Our goal is to have both of them sleeping around 20:30 p.m.

But this part we to do it ourselves, it is bounding time before fall asleep :)

Their breakfast and cloths for the next day should be prepared the day before.
