HOST FAMILY – AUPAIR/TUTOR MATCH WANTED!

Hi there! We're looking for a live-in tutor/au pair for our 9-year-old daughter starting in September 2025. She’s a very happy and outgoing girl who loves meeting new people and learning new things. We’re especially looking for someone who can help her improve her English and French.

Ideally, you could stay with us for the entire school year (September to July), but a minimum stay of 3 months is also welcome. We’ll be happy to provide references from previous au pairs and tutors—we’ve had great experiences!

We live in the north of Madrid, in a safe and friendly condominium. You’ll have your own bedroom and bathroom, plus:

A Spanish SIM card

A transport card for bus, train, and metro to explore the city

Wi-Fi

Access to the gym

Pocket money

And a swimming pool that’s open from June to September!

Our neighborhood is well connected: the train station is just a 10-minute walk away and gets you to the city center in about 20 minutes. The light rail/metro is 2 minutes away, and there are bus stops nearby. You’ll also find parks, bike paths, shops, restaurants, a shopping mall (El Corte Inglés), a public library, and a cultural center all within easy reach.

Descrizione del Lavoro

You could support her with her homework (mainly Natural Science, Social Science, and English). We would be very grateful if you could also help her improve her English, with a focus on writing and pronunciation, and support her in learning French (she started a couple of years ago). She speaks English fluently and has approximately an A2/B1 level in French.

We would need approximately 2–3 hours of your time per day, four or five days a week. This would include (depending on the day): a 1–2 hour lesson, playtime (in English or French), and taking her to or picking her up from school. The rest of the day would be free. You would have two days off per week, plus holidays according to the usual standards.

You’re very welcome to join in family activities whenever you feel like it, but you’re also free to spend time on your own if you prefer.

We live in a condominium. You would have your own bedroom and bathroom, a Spanish SIM card, a transport card for bus, train, and subway travel around Madrid, access to Wi-Fi and the gym, as well as pocket money. We also have a pool that is open from June to September.
