My name is Victoria, my husband is Jean-François. We have three children: Léonin 8 years old Emily 6, and Margot 4 years old. My husband JF is an agricultural engineer and I work for an association and look after a flat we rent. JF works full time and I work 2 days a week, from home. Margot, Emily and Léonin go to school on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8.30 to 16.30.

We are looking for someone who really loves children, will enjoy spending time with them, will have fun spending time playing with children.

I am half English and want someone who will speak English with the children. As we have had au pairs for 3 years, the children understand everything in English. We don’t need a proper au pair any more but someone who will spend a few hours a week speaking English to the children.

Basically, we are looking for someone who will help the children improve their English by playing with them. You will be with the kids about 6 hours a week, we will see when together. I will also ask you to babysit from time to time, (no more than once a week). We might ask you to work on weekends sometimes but very rarely (maybe twice a year, and we will pay you extra).

We are flexible and can change the organisation if needed. we expect from you to be the same.

When you are not on duty, you can do whatever you want to do, go to Toulouse, see friends, stay at home!

You will have a weeks holidays every 6 weeks.
If you are with us in January/February we will take you to our chalet in the Alps where you will look after Margot every afternoon and will be able to ski every morning.

We are looking for a dynamic person who loves playing with children, has initiative and willing to speak english with our children.

We need someone who will manage to keep herself busy and happy when the kids are at school 4 days a week until 4.30pm, either at home enjoying the life in Rabastens (nature, swimming pool, reading etc.) or going to Toulouse meeting friends you will make, or with a job. You need to be independant as you will have a lot of free time!

As you will live at our house, with us, you need to help us, as any member of the house hold with basic chores : tidying up, laying the table, doing the washing etc. We all help in the house and we expect from the children and the students who live with us to help to.
