Dear Family,
My name is edetta and I'm 20 years old.
I was born in Italia and I live in a small city with my
mom, and my big brother. We are a very close family.
My family are very supportive of my application to be an au pair, they always encourage me to have ambition and
goals and do their best to assist. I come from a large family: I have cousins now aged between 7 months -12 years. I often babysit for them. I
have been looking after children of all ages since I was about 14 years old when I started looking after my cousins
and family members. At parties and at family gatherings, I always take care of the children playing, watching
cartoons, making braids to girls, reading fairy tales or simply organizing group games. I had a wonderful childhood
and I know how important it is to live in a happy, safe and stimulating family.
In my spare time I enjoy dancing, singing, reading, sking, going to the beach, going for picnics and socializing with
friends. I would describe myself as caring, polite, responsible, independent and friendly always with a big smile.
I love being surrounded by people.
I am currently finishing high school and before going to university I'd like to take a gap year as an Au pair. I have a good
level of English and a basic level of Spanish.
I would like to work as an au pair as it is a fantastic opportunity to go and work and live with a family that live in a
different country and live in their country and learn about the culture. I have been wanting to do this for such a long
time now and I have finally found the opportunity to apply.
I love adapting to new people and places and so meeting a new family in a new country would suit me perfectly.
