I started babysitting when I was still in high school so it wasn't difficult to figure out that I wanted to be a early childhood teacher, the whole time I was in college I worked at a school helping kids with special needs of all ages. After I graduated I became an au pair in the United States, on my first year I lived near Chicago and I took care of 3 children, they were 6, 9 and 11 when I got there, we had a lot of fun together, they loved to play outside, to bake, to go on walks with their dog... on my second and third year as au pair I lived near Washington DC and took care of two sweet girls, they were 3 and 5 when I arrived, they are amazing kids and we had a lot of happy moments together, they loved to dress up, go to parks, to the lake, go to the zoo or farms, play with friends... I had a great relationship with my host family I lived with them for 2 years so I really got to be part of their lives and to see the kids growing up and getting smarter everyday and of course I learned a lot with them!
(I got an extra year extension due covid 19 so I was an au pair during 3 years in the U.S)
