Hello!

My name is Nina, I’m 25 y.o. and I am from Ukraine. I am an open-minded , ready for new experiences, a goal-oriented and independent person.

I consider being an Au Pair because I love kids and luckily they fancy me as well. I do like to spend time with children, it brings me joy even though I know it can be challenging at times. I prefer friendly , family-like environment over hours of office work. I would like to be a part of this program because I can contribute to the host family and at the same time benefit from this experience .

By diploma I’m an interpreter of English-Ukrainian languages, specified in business English, so I want to improve my English level for my professional skills.

I enjoy riding a bicycle and spend time outdoors, although I’m not very good at swimming. But I would love to take a course in swimming, it’s on my bucket list.

I finished music school where I learned how to play Bandura ( it's a Ukrainian national instrument). I like music and can occasionally sing while doing house chores.

During university years I used to be a part of the cheerleading team for an American football club. Now mostly I do yoga and Pilates at home in my free time.

I have an experience of long term stay in foreign countries, my longest is almost 2 years in Turkey. I enjoy doing some short trips but I also appreciate having a “base” where I can come back after travels.

I’m interested in psychology and well being topics , love to read a good book or listen to a podcast on the topic. At times I sit in a quiet environment and write something in my diary.

I expect the host family to be friendly, understanding and supportive. Also I would like them to be flexible and open for dialogue. I believe that we can manage healthy and productive communication. I strongly respect privacy and boundaries of other people and hope for the same attitude to me.
