My name is Faith. I am a 21 year old Kenyan girl aspiring to be an aupair. I am third year student at the university pursuing a bachelor degree in education French. I would like to take a gap year to explore and learn a different language and culture as I exchange my culture too.

I am a multilingual person.These are the languages I speak: 1.Swahili- Native 2.English- native 3. French- Fluent 4. Spanish - Basics 5. Chinese -Basics

I am passionate about children and find it easy to bond with them.
I have childcare experience having taken care of my nephews and nieces and also been a housekeeper and nanny for 8 months for Chinese family here in Kenya.

These were some of my roles and responsibilities:
✅I helped school going kids with their homework
✅ Prepared and packed up their lunches
✅ Did laundry, folded, and returned clothes and lines to their designated areas
✅ Accompany children to their extra curricular activities
✅ Prepared food and washed dishes
✅Read story books for the kids
✅Used machines appropriately such as washing machine, oven, microwave appropriately and reported any malfunctioning to my host family.
✅Used cleaning products well and replenished toiletries when necessary.

For toddlers, cleanliness and sanitation was one of the important things I considered. I made sure they had their meals in time and played with them.

I have basic knowledge of first aid and a valid driving license too. I am quite familiar now with Chinese cuisines. During the 8 months I learnt to cook several types of foods including dumplings, steamed buns, noodles, rice, Vegetables,etc...

I can work with little or no supervision since I've always learnt to be kind, humble and responsible person.

My hobbies are singing, dancing, playing the drums, learning languages, being outdoors in picnics or nature walks, reading novels,and playing basketball.

I am generally an athletic person hence I always found it fun playing with kids sports like basketball, soccer/football, track running , cycling and swimming.
