Position: English Teacher
After I graduated, I applied to be an English teacher in a private school in October 2020. I was working as an English teacher in private school. I taught students, first grade and second grade. They are 6-7 years old. My responsibilities were teaching English subject and English art and craft project. I taught students to read, write and to speak English. I prepared teaching materials and created fun activities to enhance student motivation and engagement. I assisted students during their lunch. We celebrated fun festivals together such as Christmas, New Year Day, and Children's Day. I spent a lot of time with my students, and I enjoyed it a lot. I have a great experience working as an English teacher. I found out how much fun it is to have children around, and I’m glad seeing them growing up.

Position: Babysitter
When I was studying in university, I had an opportunity to work as a babysitter at Nursery in August to October 2019. I looked after around 25 children, aged 3-4 years old. I learned how to feed the food, change the diapers, give them a shower, put them to bed and organize activities to develop their motor skills. I got a wonderful experience and good relationship with children and their parents, as well as good skills in working and looking after children.

November 2017 to October 2019
I took care my Aunt's daughter, since she was 5 months until 2 years 3 months old, as a mother helper. I treat her like my sister. We played, danced, and did many things together. I helped preparing formula milk, changing diapers, spoon feeding, bathing, putting her to the bed and taking her walk outside surrounding the house.

I decided to join an au pair program because I want to improve my English language skills. I want to experience and understand others culture and traditions in-person. I want to gain new childcare experience and be a part of family as we can exchange culture food and language. I believe by becoming an au pair, living with a family, spending time with children will help me more fluently speaking English. I hope that my au pair year experience with a family will give me a valuable advantage for my future career.
