Hi! I am 27 years old and from Brazil. I have 10 years of working experience with kids, from newborns to 12 y/o.

I spent a year as an au pair in the Netherlands and another one in Belgium and now I’m in Vienna, Austria finishing my year as an au pair. I am looking for an host family in Denmark (to stay 6 to 24 months) or in the UK (6 months).

I am flexible and I think this is very important because every family has its dynamics, routines and ways to educate the kids and solve problems. With the 4 families that I helped until now I helped in different ways accordingly to their necessities and expectations.

After so many years taking care of kids I learned to be paciente and to be calm even in stressfull situations. Being 27 years old and doing therapy helped, of course, but spending time with kids taught me how to be present and to enjoy litlle things on a daily basis. And by paying attention to their emotions and needs I learned to understand my own.

In Brazil, I studied environmental science while working as a babysitter on the weekends. In college, for 5 years I lived away from my family, so I learn to be independent and responsible.

Doświadczenie w opiece na dziećmi

My experience with kids:

* Au pair in Vienna, Austria (2023- February/2024) I am finishing my au pair year with a family of 3 (mom, 4 year old girl and 2 year old boy). Here I take over around 7 when the mom leaves for work, I play with the kids and make breakfast before bringing them to kindergarden at 9am. Then I organize the toys and the kitchen. At 2pm I pick them up and take them to dance/music classes, to the playground or we play at home. I cook dinner most weekdays and do the groceries.
We traveled together a couple of times in Austria and to Croatia.

* Au pair In Antwerp, Belgium. I took care of a baby since she was born and a 4 year old boy. I did everything related to the kids + groceries while parents were working. I taught English to Gabriel while playing after school and with his writing skills. With the baby I did her food introduction and sleep training. The parents worked a lot during the week days so I took the kids to doctor appointments and talk to teacher about their progress.
As they had a cleaning lady 3x times I just did the kids laundry, washed the baby’s bottles and empty the dishwasher.
And I took care of Coco too (dog)

* Au pair in Wassenaar, Netherlands. I took care of 3 girls (newborn, 3 and 5 years old) for one year. My responsibilities were: breakfast, take and pick them up at school, entertain them in the afternoon, cook dinner 3 times a week, help with the dogs, housework and laundry.
After the school we used to go by bike to the playground or the park. I arranged play dates and activities (arts and crafts, baking, games) and I helped with writing and reading skills.
We didn’t have a cleaning lady so all the household chores was done by me and the two parents.
We went to vacation together to Portugal.

*I worked as a nanny from 2014 to 2019 with a family with 3 kids on the weekends. When I started the kids were 2, 5 and 6 years old. There I had a lot of autonomy since the parents used to work on the weekends: I planned the day, activities, meals and helped with homework, drove the kids to activities and some household chores. I went with them in some trips.

*My sisters are 15 and 10 years now and I take care of them since they were newborns.
