LanguageJobSpain works as a mediator between families and au- pairs. We match them according to their preferences, necessities and carry out a family and au- pair screening. Although the au- pair placement is not considered a job in Spain, it is regulated by the Council of Europe through the European Agreement on au pair placement. This is an agreement between the family and the au-pair that states working hours, pocket money, days off, responsibilities, commitments, etc. We help in the making of the au pair/family agreement to avoid any misunderstandings between you and your host family.

AU PAIR IN SPAIN PLACEMENTS
We are urgently looking for students, English speaking people willing to experience a total immersion, culturally and linguistically. We are currently recruiting au-pairs in Galicia- beautiful North West Coast of Spain during summer 2015. Placements are from 1 to 3 months. Starting dates are flexible, starting in late May, June, July and early August.
In all cases the host family will provide room and board, and the au-pair won't have to provide housekeeping. In exchange, the au-pair will be asked to look after the kids while parents are working and teach them some English. The au-pair will be paid 70€-80€ pocket money per week for 25-30 working hours. Spanish knowledge is not compulsory. However, a proficiency English level (native or near native speaker) will be required.
Our host families are open to new cultures. At least one parent speaks a second language and they show a great interest in learning new languages , especially English. They are looking for an au pair who wants to be part of the family, being an elder brother / sister, taking care of children, transmitting her/his culture and language. They are looking for a linguistic and cultural exchange.
We are currently looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, active, fun but responsible au-pair, someone who enjoys the outdoors, travelling and children's company; someone optimistic, capable to adapt to new situations.
