The Au Pair we are looking for:
We're looking for a “Big Sister” who genuinely loves working with kids and wants to explore Goa! Patience, responsibility & honesty are important, as well as good communication skills. We value someone who can work efficiently but knows when they need a healthy break to relax & recharge. If you're creative and can bring fun to our daughter's activities you'll be her hero :) We're seeking a strong role model for our daughter, a person who embodies good manners and independence, someone with skills or an inspiring passion for hobbies :) Being open-minded and flexible is important to live in the beautiful chaos of India! A valid bike license is good to explore all of Goa. While on duty, we expect your full dedication to our daughter, but we'll also provide you with breaks (and holidays!) to recharge, discover Goa and make new friends. Our Home:
Cozy villa - 3 stories, 4 bedrooms, 1 kitchen. As our live-in nanny / Big Sister you'll have your own room, ensuring you have a homely space to relax!
Location:
peaceful street in Goa, old Portuguese architecture & lush green paddy fields around. Peacocks & cute monkeys too :) While our neighbourhood is peaceful there are nearby activities (cafes, restaurants, nightclubs, art galleries, yoga & pilates studio, live music, beaches…) Getting around is easy by bike. Walking distance from our house there's a cafe with live music on weekends. 15-minute bike ride the nearest city & international supermarket. The best beach for surfing is a 35-minute bike ride away, the capital city Panjim is a 40 minute bike ride.

We look for gentle & reliable support - a responsible & fun companion for our daughter. You will NOT be responsible for cleaning the house or doing laundry (we have a helper for that!) Honesty is important. If you have any problems come & talk to us - we are here to help and ensure your stay is as cozy and fun!
During work hours we expect you to be at your best, avoid distractions (such as excessive phone use). Remain mindful of your responsibilities & tasks while on “Big Sister Duty”. if you need a break to recharge let us know and we will arrange time for you.
Important: We have a zero-tolerance policy for any aggressive or inappropriate behaviour towards our daughter. Respect is the name of the game!
Life Work Balance:
At least one day off per week (absolute minimum!) Whenever possible you will get 2 days off, plus some additional holidays in between giving you quality time to relax, explore Goa, meet new people and make new friends.
Our goal is to create a win-win-win situation:
our daughter will have a wonderful Big Sister Companion
you will have an amazing au pair experience (plus a good time in Goa :)
we parents receive the support & help we need to recharge and be happier parents!
Pocket Money: weekly pocket money based on experience, skills & performance. If you have skills (first aid, language proficiency, swim teacher certificate, kids yoga teacher certificate etc.) we will set your pocket money accordingly. We reward dedication & excellent care for our daughter!
Meals, Drinks & more: We provide 3 meals daily (Indian cuisine). You'll also have free access to our kitchen to prepare meals according to your own preferences. You will receive discounts for all dishes at our international restaurant.
your job tasks as an AuPair include:

11. Being a positive role model & big sister figure.
12. Communicating with parents about the child's well-being.
13. Maintaining open, honest, and respectful communication.
14. Requesting breaks and holidays to recharge when needed.
15. Demonstrating dedication and responsibility during work duty.
16. Capturing pictures / videos of fun activities with child.
17. Celebrating the child's positive accomplishments.
18. Modeling good manners & good personal hygiene habits.
19. Help establishing a healthy routine for the child.
20. Teaching new skills through role modelling and activities
