Carta de boas-vindas à Au Pair

We are looking for a girl who loves kids AND animals (dogs and cats) and can take care of them (animals) when we (me, hubby and our baby girl) are away. Start date: end of April , beginning of May 2024. Duration of stay minimum 2 months, maximum 6 months.

ABOUT FAMILY

Mom, Dad, Daughter, 3 dogs and 2 cats.

Baby was born on 1 of July 2020 so she will be a bit less than 4 years old in April 2024.
I work approx 5-6 hours daily from home. My husband is working from home a lot as well. I'm working afternoons (usually 2-7pm)
We have 3 dogs and 2 cats, so you need to be fine with dogs and cats, they are part of the family.
Me and my husband are around 40 if that's matter for you.

Taking care of our daughter means spending time together doing important and valuable things like: reading books, building of blocks, playing, painting, singing, dancing, doing creative activity (you can find great ideas on Instagram), playing a ball, going to playground, going for picnic, walking in the forest, going to the beachside, going shopping, showing sher world, teaching her. We don't mind if she gets dirty (paint, mud, etc), it's okay if she gets wet (we have lots of puddles - it's Ireland LOL). We are NOT okay to screens when AP is with our baby (mobile phone, tv). AP will need to prepare snacks for our Girl, take her for daily walks (only when weather is really bad it's better to stay home), put her for an afternoon nap, etc.

We are living in calm and quiet village in detached house with garden. We are based walking distance from sea, lovely woods, playground, and gym with pool. Closest town to us it's Gorey. Gorey Town is about 10 minutes from us by car. We are NOT offering a car to aupair, but there is a bus which is going to Gorey. We can drop you to the town as well time to time. Dublin is approx 1 and half hour from Gorey (by bus or train) and Wexford is approx 30 minutes from Gorey by bus.
Gorey is a small town, but it has everything to live comfy life. Shops, pubs, restaurants, mall, cinema, school of english, etc.

In free time - if the weather is good - we spend time outside (going for a big walks or driving to a Wexford, Dublin or other city around). When its raining and windy we stay home playing games, watching some TV, cooking, chilling on the sofa, having just relaxing time. Or (when it's needed) we are doing something around house (cutting grass, walls painting, etc)

My husband wakes up around 7-8am and goes to work. Me and my daughter are not a morning persons so we stay longer in bed. When we are finally awake, we spend time together having good time, preparing lunch, etc. Lunch is served around 1pm. After lunch I'm going to work and it's time for AP to take care of my Girl. AP stays with our Girl untill 6/7pm (around that time we are finishing work). Dinner is served between 8-9pm. AP has free mornings and evening.

Our AP takes care of our daughter when I'm at work (I usually work 2pm-6/7pm). Mornings and evening are free of work. Weekends are free as well (unless we need AP stays with our baby, that happened only few times during last 1 and half year since we host aupairs in our home)

Household work is also included (loading/unloading dishwasher, making sure that nothing is splashed on floor, cleaning after meals - usually I do prepare meals - so it would be nice if AP puts dishes to dishwasher, wipe a table, etc).

I will never ask to clean my and my husband offices, our bedroom or bathroom, but I want AP helps keep tidy areas that everyone is using (corridor, hall, kitchen, stairs, downstairs bathroom) Help - means ALL OF US share responsibility for this areas. AP is not a maid, but I don't want to be a cleaning slave as well.

We are offering cosy room, meals (we have standard diet, we are not vegetarians, but we do not eat lots of meat) and salary (100e/week). Our home is covered with fast broadband (wi-fi), we offer netflix, and phone (android) with monthly prepaid so AP don't have to use her own mobile data. We have great selection of books in english and polish as well. If AP wants to explore the area, we will gladly borrow a bike, electric scooter or Vespa type scooter.

If you become our AP - you can spend your free time as you wish. You can do something independently but you are welcome to join us in as well. If you want to invite friends - it's okay - I just need to know upfront.

Experience in taking care of children would be fine, but is NOT necessary.
Driving license is NOT necessary.
Contact me if you have any questions.

Cheers.

I can give you contact to my previous AuPairs.

Do not send me copy/paste message, please. Do not write you can drive my child to school or do homework with her when she is less than 4 years old. I'm not going to answer messages which seems to by copy/paste to everyone.
