Dear Future Host Family,

I am Dawn, 24 years old, currently an aupair here in Belgium. My contract will end on the last month of February 2024. However, I could already start beginning of January the earliest because my current host family does not need much help during this winter. My experiences has led me in a decision to continue this aupair program. I also wanted to explore more in Europe.

I have one year experience in the Netherlands and after that I moved here in Belgium for another year. I have been in great families. And my task daily was mainly taking care of the kids, cooking dinner, and doing light household chores. I am responsible for preparing the kids’ lunchboxes, giving them breakfast, and getting them ready for school. When the kids are in school, I start doing some light household chores.

I am active and I like to explore the neighborhood and meet my friends close by when I have free time. I know how to ride a bike. Moreover, I am knowledgeable when it comes to technologies. I am flexible and the kind of person who is willing to learn.

I have also exercised the one perk of cultural exchange which is to learn the language and culture in the country that you’ve been in. I studied their language and respected their culture. I have a great verbal communication skills and can assist with all needs which relates to being an Au Pair and would love to try the new culture and environment of a new country.

My experience and personal skills would directly improve the day-to-day life of my future host family which I will effectively help take care of children. I’m confident that I would make a positive impact to the physical and mental development of your children. I would appreciate a chance to talk about this further in the nearest future.

I have also good relationship with the host parents. With that, I am very willing to introduce them to you to serve them as my reference.
