Dear host family,

With this letter, I would like to introduce you to my life, including my goals, aspirations, family members, and, of course, myself.

By way of introduction, my name is Tamar, I am 25 years old. I live in Tbilisi, Georgia, with my big family. Strangers are always surprised when I reveal that I have four siblings, two dogs, and two cats. We are never bored since we have so many children and animals in the family. My mother is a doctor, and my father is a lawyer. Nonetheless, both are currently employed in other fields.

Currently I am working as a junior associate in an international law firm. I graduated from Ilia State University and am pursuing a master's degree in English in International Business Law at the University of Georgia. My experience is not limited to my professional background. At every stage of my life, I had the opportunity to interact with children.

I chose this program since, first and foremost, I would like to change my professional area of expertise and take a gap year to get out of my comfort zone and focus on my career path. I lived in Ireland in 2018 as part of the Erasmus educational exchange program, and it was an unforgettable experience for me. Such exchange programs, in my personal view, allow people of different nationalities to share their experiences and cultures with one another, and these experiences will help in future educational and career plans, as universities and employers place a significant emphasis on global experience.
