Dear future host family,

My name is Mwende, I am currently living in Sweden.
I speak English, Swahili (My first language) and Swedish (a little, just day to day level).

I'm interested with the Au pair Cultural Exchange, to led a helping hand with your kid/kids, light house chores, to immerse myself in your culture, food and language of your country and foster good relationships with and your family. Below is a little summary of my experience with children.

When I was younger during school long holiday's I would go to camp and work with kids. I’ve also baby sat neighborhood kids on several occasions. (6 months, 7 years, 9 years and 11 years)

2020-2021 Dutch family in Nairobi children (11 years and 8 years), which was a lovely experience, I am still in contact with them.

2022 in France until, kids were 6 months and 4 years.

2023 in Sweden, kids are 4,10 and 16 years

My previous and current host families are willing to give references.

My au pair journey in Sweden sadly ends in November 2024, I have really had a good time here; but also now looking forward to my new experience hopefully with your family.
