Bella Vista Guided Arrivals (BVGA) is a boutique placement agency based in China. We connect international au pairs with Chinese families who value mutual respect, cultural understanding, and daily connection.
We work with a select group of families — especially in cities like Shanghai and Beijing — who are ready to welcome someone into their home, not just hire help.
Matching isn’t the end of our process. We stay involved, offering guidance through language barriers, cultural shifts, and everyday life.
Note that this program isn’t for everyone. It’s for those who are ready to adapt, engage, and grow — not just explore.

Program at a Glance
📍 Location: Major cities across China
📆 Duration: 3–12 months
You Give
• 30–40 hours/week supporting the child’s learning and daily life
• A basic commitment to stay the full term
You Get
• Monthly pocket money (¥2000–3000 / €250–370 / $275–410)
• Mandarin classes (2–4 sessions/week)
• Private room, meals with the family
• Paid holidays, visa support, insurance
• Cultural activities and ongoing support
You Are
• 18–30 years old
• Fluent in English
• Independent, observant, and open to cultural difference
• Ready to engage with children and share your language and culture
• Capable of handling cultural and emotional ups and downs with maturity
