My name is Elisa Medellin, I am originally from Mexico, but have been living in Canada since 2012. I am a dual citizen and my agency is celebrating 10 years in the international mobility industry. Its focus has been mostly education for all ages (summer and winter camps for young children and young adults, language courses for adults, year abroad exchange program for high school, vocational diplomas with pathways to Permanent Residence in Canada, etc). As we reach this milestone of 10 years, we would love to explore the possibility of adding the Au Pair program to our offerings, and perhaps even twist the focus of the agency altogether to promote such a wonderful program not so well known within Canada. Our agency has offices in Canada and Mexico, and as a parent myself, I realize the needs of additional support for young professional families with small children. Having an extra set of hands we can trust to take care of our children is a privilege these days. Most young families in Canada have both parents working full time so the additional support at home is definitely something valued and highly appreciated. I think the AuPair program is a fantastic match to meet the needs of working families and of course the expectations of Aupairs worldwide. We would love to be able to represent this organization.
