Hallo Future Host Family,

My name is Fitria cyndhi.
My nickname is Cyndhi and I'm 23 years old.
My native language is Indonesian. I also speak English and a little bit German. I am the 5th of 7 children. My mother Karmila is 50 years old and my father Thobias is 70 years old. When I was 10 years old I no longer lived with my mother because at that time my father died (2011) and my mother could not take care of us all by herself. I went to the city of Palangka Raya in Central Kalimantan Indonesia where I lived with my female cousin from my father's family. There I continued my schooling until I graduated. While living with my cousin I learned many things. I learned to be independent early on and learned patience. I helped my cousin to take care of her children. All 3 of them are boys. When I woke up in the morning I helped with the household and after that I helped my cousin to prepare the children for go to school. Such as helping to wake up the children then take them to the bathroom to bathe after that prepare breakfast and provisions to take to school. Sometimes I also took the children to school. After I finish helping to take care of the children my cousin and I went to the market to buy ingredients for cooking. I really like cooking. I always try to cook food that I have never cooked before.
Sometimes I watch recipes on YouTube or read them in the internet. I also often make my own dishes with recipes that I make by myself.

After graduating from school I continued to looking for a job and I worked at a cellphone shop as a sales promotion girl for one year.
Then I worked again as a sales promotion girl at PT Gudang Garam for one month because at that time I only worked during events that were available in that month. While I was working I also used my spare time to make creations from food that I wanted to process into snacks. I learned to process macaroni into crunchy snacks. I also learned to make my own macaroni packaging design. After a few months I was finally able to make snacks build up from macaroni with several flavors.
In August 2020 I started to produce this type of snacks which is made from macaroni and also sell them.
In my spare time I often helped my brother to look after his son because at that moment of time his wife had just given birth. I helped take care of him from a young age and because of it the boy was very close to me. Such as bathing him when he was 5 months old. I prepared baby food and played with him and also bring him to bed during the day and at night.
The reason why I'm interested in joining the au pair program is because I want to gain more experience at my young age. I want to see firsthand how people there do their daily activities. I'm very interested to see how they practice their culture and language. The buildings which they built there also look very amazing. I think the au pair program is a very great way for me to follow because I also really like children and I have a lot of experience with childcare.
In addition I'm also very pet friendly. I have dogs and cats. Therefore I'm able to help more versatile other families.
Hopefully this letter about me show you something about my life and my unique personality.
I would be very glad to be able to meet my host family very soon. It also would be fantastic if I could stay for one year with a host family. So that we have enough time to share good impressions and memories with each other.
