Hi future host family!

My name is Ava and I was born and raised in Australia. I am currently completing year 12 (high school graduation certificate) and being an Au Pair overseas really interests me for my gap year! I am an enthusiastic young adult looking for an awesome host family! I enjoy playing sports in my free time and love dogs. I also have my drivers licence. I'm excited to travel the world and working overseas would greatly benefit me in this regard.

Being and Au pair and Nanny overseas really interests me as I have a passion for working with kids. I am currently completing my Certificate ||| in Early Childhood Education and Care and have a passion for teaching. As this is my last year of high school, by the end of 2024 I will be a fully qualified early childhood educator as well as receiving my High School Certificate of completing Year 12. My ultimate plan is to go overseas in my gap year, do some work, travelling and really gain some life experience! Afterwards I want to get a bachelor in early education and primary so I can officially be a teacher!

You should host me as I am a very hands on, engaging and energetic person ready to give your children the best care possible. I am looking for a family who is easy going, fun and most importantly kind. I am sure I will fit in anywhere and am so grateful for this opportunity.

I have lots of experience working with children of many ages. With the school I attend I have been lucky enough to receive the opportunity to go to work 2 days a week and go to school 3 days a week. This means I have had the chance to get a job in an early learning centre, learning hands on through my certificate. I have been employed there for 6 months and am loving every second! I currently work in the nursery (6 weeks - 24 months) but have experience with children of all ages! This means I have had experience working with children of those ages before and feel comfortable working with children of those ages.

I have a job at a vacation care centre during school term breaks of children aged 6 - 12 years of age. During this program we run engaging activities to keep the children entertained. We provide fun learning experiences and most importantly engage and enrich the children's learning. This means through my job I have had experience working with children of those ages before and feel comfortable working with children of those ages.

I also do babysitting regularly for children of all ages - which has provided me with much experience in the Au Pair and Nanny world! Most recently, I have regularly babysat 7 month old twin baby boys which runs smoothly every time!

I feel as though I qualify for this position not only due to my experience but my passion for the industry. I love seeing children reach milestones and learn through fun, engaging play. I really believe being an Au Pair or Nanny overseas would benefit me in my passion for teaching but also to see and travel the world.
