Hello! My name is Fatime, I’m 24 years old, and I’m from Turkey. I studied Urban Planning at bachelor’s level and I’ve always been passionate about cultural exchange. I first discovered the Au Pair program online and immediately thought it would be a great fit for me. I’ve already been an exchange student in Germany before and was actively involved in exchange activities at my university. When I visited Germany, I truly enjoyed the warm and friendly people I met, and I fell in love with the culture. That experience gave me a strong motivation to learn the German language and understand the culture more deeply.
One of the main reasons I want to become an Au Pair is that I get along very well with children—they often find me fun and easy to be around. I come from a big family with six siblings, and I helped my mother raise my three younger siblings. I also have two nephews, aged 4 and 1, whom I sometimes take care of. These experiences have made me patient, responsible, and creative in spending quality time with children.
I believe I would be a great Au Pair because I speak English fluently, and I already have a basic knowledge of German (B1 level when I arrive). This means I’ll be able to communicate well with you and your children from the start. I’m also a positive and adaptable person. Growing up in a big family taught me how to respect shared spaces and live harmoniously with others. Above all, I’m very responsible—whatever task I take on, I give it my best effort.
