My name is Valeria, I am 24 years old and I come from Antofagasta, in the north of Chile. I grew up in an international school, where I developed my love for languages and cultures. By the age of 15, I had already achieved my Cambridge Advanced English Certificate (C1), which has allowed me to study, live and thrive in multicultural environments. After finishing high school, I moved to Santiago to study Business at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. During my undergraduate years, I was actively involved in student life, joining the hockey club, student government, mentoring freshmen students, and even becoming a teaching assistant for Organizational Behaviour. My passion for international experiences later took me to study at IE University in Madrid, and then at ESADE in Barcelona through a master’s program in International Management.

While my academic and professional journey has shaped me, what truly defines me is my love for family, creativity, and children. Being the youngest of eight siblings, I grew up surrounded by care, warmth, and strong family bonds. This also meant that I became an aunt at a very young age, and from early on I discovered the joy of looking after my nephews. Those experiences taught me patience, responsibility, and—most importantly—the happiness of sharing moments of laughter, discovery, and affection with children. I have always loved spending time with kids, and one of my dreams for the future is to become a mother myself. Becoming an Au Pair feels like the perfect opportunity to learn even more about family dynamics, childcare, and motherhood, while being part of a new culture.

I believe you should host me because I bring a balance of responsibility, creativity, and genuine kindness. Families and children often describe me as sweet, patient, and fun. I enjoy spending time together, whether it’s helping with homework, playing outdoors, or creating something artistic. I am also very active—I love going to the gym, doing pilates, yoga, dancing, and exploring new activities. On the other hand, my artistic side allows me to share with children through painting, singing, or storytelling. I truly believe that I can make a positive contribution to your family’s daily life, not only by supporting you in practical ways but also by bringing joy, warmth, and creativity into your children’s growth.
