Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Merve, I’m 25 years old and I come from Turkey. I have a background in Psychological Counseling and Guidance, and I’ve always enjoyed working closely with children and families. Currently, I work in a café, but my true passion lies in education, caregiving, and supporting emotional development.

I would love to become an Au Pair and Nanny because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and supporting their learning and growth. I believe that being part of a host family abroad is not only a cultural exchange but also a beautiful opportunity to connect, help, and learn together.

I have hands-on experience with children: I completed a 6-month internship at a preschool, where I supported teachers and guided children through their daily activities. I also worked as an assistant in a coparenting project that focused on supporting couples who were expecting their first child. Our goal was to help them prepare emotionally and practically for parenthood, and to foster healthy communication and shared parenting responsibilities. This experience gave me a deep appreciation for the importance of empathy, trust, and structure in a family environment.

I would be honored if you choose to host me. I am responsible, warm, and calm by nature. My academic background and real-life experiences have taught me how to understand and support children’s emotional needs. I’m also a creative person who loves storytelling, crafting, and coming up with playful, meaningful activities.

In addition, I’d be happy to help with light housework, prepare simple meals, and share my Turkish culture with your family. I look forward to becoming a positive and reliable part of your home.
