When I first learned about this program, I immediately sought more information. I love working with children and have a lot of experience with them, so I felt this program would be a perfect fit. It offers many opportunities and benefits that align with my goals.

Through this program, I’ll gain experience living abroad with a host family, sharing cultures, and caring for their children like an older sister. I’ll also learn valuable parenting skills that will help me in the future, whether with my sister's children or when I become a mother myself, as I know parenting isn’t easy.

I’ll also have the chance to learn a new language, which will be useful in my work in the tourism sector. As a cook, I’m excited to experience and taste local food directly in their country, enriching my culinary knowledge.

Overall, I see this as a rich and rewarding experience. I enjoy learning about other cultures, and living with people from different backgrounds will expose me to new perspectives and ways of life that will shape my values and beliefs.


Since my older sister got married and had two children, Meisya (3) and Davin (2), I’ve become very close to them. I’ve been helping take care of them since they were born. My daily tasks included feeding, bathing, dressing them, changing diapers, making formula, and putting them to sleep during the day. I also enjoyed teaching them how to walk, talk, and eat on their own. It was always fun watching them grow and try new things. On my days off, we often went out to the beach, park, or tried a new restaurant together.

I also sometimes helped care for the child of the restaurant owner where I used to work. She loved playing with me after work, and sometimes I would sleep over at her house. We would swim, play with toys, and watch her favorite cartoons like Peppa Pig, PJ Masks, and Paw Patrol. Spending time with her helped me practice my English and gave me more confidence in speaking.

as an au pair in the Netherlands, I’m taking care of a 2-year-old boy and a newborn baby girl. One of the most special moments for me was seeing the baby grow from the day she was born. Every morning, I take the older child to daycare and pick him up in the afternoon. On the days he’s home, we spend time baking, playing, going to the zoo, bookstore, or playground. This experience has made me love working with children even more.
