On school days (Mon-Fri), the kids wake at 615am, get dressed and eat breakfast before the bus picks them up at 730am. Then in the afternoon, you would pick them up again from the bus at 330pm. The time the kids are at school is for you to do whatever you want!!! When the weather is nice, we do enjoy going for walks in the evening and is a big part of our routine before putting them in the bath, reading to them, and get them into bed by 8pm.

You will have a large bedroom, your own large bathroom, and meals (you can go shopping with us if you have food preferences). Also, while the ‘maximum’ Pocket Money amount for Germany is only 280 Euro per month, we will gladly pay more for our amazing au pair (definitely negotiable)! We also will pay for any costs if you travel with us on vacation as we enjoy traveling in Europe!

Basic au pair schedule: 615-730am wake the kids, eat breakfast, get them clothed, and get to the school bus by 720. Between 730am-330pm we would like the au pair to take care of the children's laundry/dishes and then you can have as much free time as needed until the kids arrive back on the school bus. Around 330pm the children return on the bus from school, and they have a snack, play outside, finish any schoolwork, play some more, eat dinner, bath time, and put pajamas on for bedtime at 8pm. Carissa and Austin usually get home about 5pm, so you really only have them in the afternoon for 1.5-2 hours.
There is a small potential for Saturday morning duties as well, but most work time will be during Monday-Friday. We plan to purchase groceries for the entire house (including the au pair's food preferences) and provide pocket money monthly and au pair medical insurance.
