Meet Our Family in Chengdu!

Hello from Chengdu! We’re a loving, vibrant family of three living in a high-end apartment complex in the heart of the city. Our home is filled with laughter, art, and a passion for learning, and now we are looking forward to welcoming a new member into our lives — our au pair!

About Us

My name is Mr. Pei, and I’m a business owner. My wife Lisa is a digital content creator with a creative and open-minded personality. We both have a decent command of English and are always curious about other cultures and languages. We never smoke and strongly value mutual respect, tidiness, and open communication.

We have one daughter, Lanky, who is 13 years old. She is a bright, cheerful girl who enjoys giving speeches, painting, and dancing. She’s sociable and expressive, and we hope her time with you can help her grow even further in language and confidence.

Our Home & Neighborhood

We live at New Hope D10 Tianfu, in a large modern apartment with beautiful surroundings, great natural light, and a clean and tidy layout. Your bedroom will be private, with a window, desk, and WiFi. You’ll share a clean bathroom with the family.

There’s a housekeeper to take care of daily chores, and you’ll enjoy three meals a day together with the family — cooked by our wonderful auntie. If you have any dietary preferences, just let us know — and we’d love to try your hometown dishes too!

Our location couldn’t be better. We’re just 5 minutes from Niuwangmiao subway station and walking distance to the most popular shopping and lifestyle centers in Chengdu like Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li, and D-Land Street. Whether you enjoy art exhibitions, boutique stores, or a cozy café, it’s all just steps away.

What We Expect from You

We hope you can help tutor our daughter in English — both academically and in everyday conversation. If you know some basic dancing or are good at creative activities, that’s a big bonus!

In our home, we strongly value:
• Respect for each other and for personal boundaries.
• Cleanliness — we expect everyone to maintain personal hygiene and keep shared spaces neat.
• No smoking, and no rude or unkind behavior.

We are planning some occasional family outings and possibly a longer trip, and we’d love to bring you along!

• Meals are taken care of by our housekeeper, but you’re always welcome to cook or share your own recipes too.
• Location is super convenient — right in the best area of Chengdu, you’ll have access to shopping, food, culture, and nature.
