Because of the war in Lebanon in 2006, I had a deficiency in melaninmy body, which led to vitiligo. I was exposed to a lot of bullying, and with the passage of time, I gained strength from my color difference. I hope this will not be harmful to you.
I was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon.
I come from a small family of five.
That means my mom, my dad, my younger sister, my younger brother, and me.
My sister and I live in Türkiye, in Istanbul. We came here so my sister could complete her studies especially to earned money so that I can also help my family. Due to the circumstances in Lebanon, she was unable to complete her studies, and there were no good job opportunities to help my family because of the expensive living condition. My family currently lives in Lebanon.
Caring for my grandmother who had cancer inspired me to become a nurse. I have cared for it for over three years, and through that experience, I have learned that I am passionate about helping people and improving the daily lives of individuals who need health care.
