Hey family! My name is Cecilia and I'm a 24-year-old language student from a small region of Spain called Asturias. Located in the northwest of the peninsula, it is known for its Celtic origins and our typical way of pouring cider. I lived in a small town during my childhood and adolescence with my parents and my younger sister. In 2021 I spent a year as an Erasmus student in Nantes (France), but I'm currently in Oviedo, where I live with two flatmates.
I plan on finishing my studies next year. I don't know where to focus my career pathway yet, but I'm interested in teaching and translation. Currently, I'm working as a private English tutor for children during the afternoons.
Being the curious and caring person that I am, the opportunity of becoming an au pair during the summer is a thrilling way of incorporating my childcare abilities in a different way. Plus, it will broaden my personal growth by living in a different culture doing one of the things I love the most, spending time with children and taking good care of them. What a unique opportunity!
